ON DECK THIS SPRING
A fan favorite returns & we host a golf-lovers dream day
Spring Fling
Saturday, April 20 from 10 am to 2 pm
It’s backkk! Kick off Easter weekend with a major egg hunt on the Play Field (seriously, tell your kids to bring their A-game), live music, bounce houses, a petting zoo, and so much more. Lunch will be provided, courtesy of The Hamburger Man. And don’t forget to BYOB (bring your own basket).
Owner-Guest Golf Event
Saturday, May 18
Homeowners and their guests are invited to Long Cove’s first-ever golf day. Enjoy a Bloody Mary bar—the breakfast of champions, right?—followed by a round at McNarosa, lunch at Regatta Grill, nine holes on The Proving Grounds, and as if that weren’t enough, dinner and cigars on Thistle Never Dhu putting green. That, our friends, is what we call the golf trifecta. This special event is open to a limited number of participants, so be sure to save the date and RSVP. Invitations will go out soon.
ANNUAL SUMMER CELEBRATIONS
Proof that we know how to party
Memorial Day Crawfish Boil
Saturday, May 25
Long Cove’s annual Memorial Weekend Crawfish Boil returns. Bring your family (and your appetite) for an afternoon of food, drinks, and fun as we celebrate the unofficial start of summer and honor the men and women who have served.
4th of July Celebrations
Save the Date – Thursday, July 4 & Saturday, July 6
Homeowners enjoying the 4th at the lake are invited to head over to Cape Canaveral at dusk. You bring the fireworks; we’ll provide the popsicles. The party continues on Saturday, July 6 with Long Cove’s annual Golf Cart Parade and spectacular fireworks show over the water.
Labor Day Luau
Saturday, August 31
Remember: It’s not goodbye, it’s see you later. In Long Cove tradition, we’ll say “see you later” to summer with a good-old-fashioned luau including a pig roast, a limbo contest, and a paper-lantern release (a Longcovian fave).
NEW & NOT-TO-BE-MISSES SPECIAL EVENTS
Say no to FOMO this summer
Cove Parties at Henderson Bay
Be on the look for fun pop-up events hosted by our sales team. The ever-popular Cove Party is returning to Henderson Bay, reoccurring on select weekends throughout the season. The Hamburger Man will serve up lunch and we’ll serve up fun all afternoon long with kayaks, bikes, giant inflatables, yard games, and water toys galore. Open to homeowners, guests, and invited sales prospects.
Sunset Suppers
Long Cove’s most-requested local caterer, Chef Justin Boswell of Railway Café, is bringing his talents poolside. Sunset Suppers will take place at The Lake Club once a month from 7 to 9 pm, giving homeowners and their guests an opportunity to get together with neighbors and enjoy the sunset over good food and drinks. No need to get gussied up; this is a casual affair. Locally inspired dishes will be served up buffet style and The Regatta Grill will remain open for those in need of a flatbread fix. Registration is required and price per plate applies. Save the date!
Family Porching Hour
Porching Hour is getting a little more neighborly. Each of this summer’s monthly get-togethers will take place at a different Long Covian’s lakefront porch from 4 to 6 pm. Neighbors are invited to pop by and get to know each other over live music, specialty drinks, and stunning lakefront views. Plus we’ve booked local celebs and Long Cove faves: Kadie Lynn, Riley Thompson, and Jade Flores (all the heart eyes)
Dive-In Movie Nights
Long Cove’s monthly movie night is back at The Lake Club. Longcovians big and small are invited to join in for piles of popcorn, heaps of movie candy, family-friendly flicks, and—wait for it—family karaoke! Pre-movie karaoke is new this year, so start practicing your vocal warm-ups now.
Family Game Nights
Ready for a little friendly competition? The Regatta Grill is rolling out a Family Game Night for the summer season. Manager Caitlin Webster and her fabulous team will play host, presiding over bingo, charades, and other classics from 6:30 to 8:30 pm once a month.
ETC.
