There’s always something fun going on at Long Cove.
Events at Long Cove make it even more fun to share your weekend getaway home with friends and family. They also bring everyone in the community together, so you actually know your neighbors by name – how ’bout that. And one of the great things about having a weekend getaway lake home near Dallas is that you’ll use it throughout the seasons. Long Cove events kick off in early spring and run through Christmas.
It all starts with a mad dash for Easter eggs. Then add live Blue Grass, a petting zoo, serious yard gaming and a great lunch.
A runaway favorite. Who better to salute than the juggler of all things, Mom. We plan all the fun so she doesn’t have to lift a finger — for 24 hours at least.
A poolside feast, fun around the pool with family and friends. And then some. What a way to dive into summer.
We do it up for Long Cove dads (and grandads) all kinds of ways, from barbecue lunches to sports challenges.
We love kicking off the weekend with a neighborhood parade and then going out with a bang with fireworks on Henderson Bay. There’s also a spot we call Cape Canaveral where you can fire up your own show.
Taste and Tour
Longcovians are a social bunch and this home tour and neighborly chat combo takes the cake as a mixer. Enjoy golf cart caravaning between homes in a progressive cocktail party-style format.
Faster. Higher. Stronger. If you’ve got that Olympic mindset, you’ll take to our year-round clinics. We bring in the pros to help level up your game, from golf and pickleball to skeet shooting, fishing and yoga.
We get together a lot around here. Our Sunset Suppers, Porching Hours and Taste & Tours bring everyone together to share chef-prepared meals, good wine and neighborly banter. We like to say the fun is baked in, and hey, it actually is.
Our fond farewell to summer – always a Longcovian favorite. Chef-made poolside lunches, yard games, sports clinics, live music and fireworks are often on the party agenda.
Christmas PJ Party
For the year-end kicker, we invite Santa and his reindeer out to the lake for fun, libations, and of course for a behavior chat.
