There’s always something fun going on at Long Cove.
Events at Long Cove make it even more fun to share your weekend getaway home with friends and family. They also bring everyone in the community together, so you actually know your neighbors by name – how ‘bout that. And one of the great things about having a weekend getaway lake home near Dallas is that you’ll use it throughout the seasons. Long Cove events kick off in early spring and run through Christmas.
A picture perfect day featuring a mad dash for Easter eggs. Serious yard gaming. Bass fishing. Live Blue Grass. And the ever-popular Hamburger Man.
Our Memorial Day celebration featured helicopter tours of Cedar Creek Lake and glow in the dark putting on our new 84,000 square foot green, which officially opened. And of course, plenty of splash time.
Kicked off Independence Day weekend with a neighborhood parade. Christened the Hennybay Bridge with a little help from mother nature. Had some apple pie and woo-hooed to an impressive fireworks display.
Farm to Fork Dinner
Community tables. Café lights. Fresh, locally sourced ingredients by Railway Cafe Chef Justin Boswell. Our own favorite wines to share. And some great neighborly banter.
Labor Day Luau
Loosened up the hips with authentic Hawaiian music and dance lessons, followed by a limbo competition. Pineapples. Flamingos. Fire dancers. A bubble show. And capped off the night by releasing sky lanterns with thoughts of gratitude (and possibly a couple material requests).
