If it’s been a while since you’ve visited Long Cove, there’s never been a better time to come back out and experience the community. Long Cove has grown so much over the years and we’d love for you to see what’s new. From concept to creation, Long Cove was once a big idea to create a luxury lakefront community close to Dallas. That big idea has come to fruition and grown into so much more — and it only gets better every season!

What’s new and in the works? Four pickleball courts were added and have become a community hub for all ages. Four miles of hiking and biking trails are completed, and sculptures by Texas artists will be added along the way every season. A new lakeside amphitheater at Henderson Bay was built and is the site for summer concerts and movies under the stars. Two new pools are in the works. A large sports venue called The Roof is in development. Two new fishing ponds were created. And when it comes to lake homes – just wow! The Dodd’s Landing and Dodd’s Point neighborhoods are now complete. Three more Porch Homes overlooking Shumate Pond are nearly finished. The Henderson Bay, South Shore, and North Shore neighborhoods opened for development and filled up quickly. And we’re now breaking ground on the newest neighborhood, Eastport, featuring a community pool and a tree-to-tree adventure park. So lots to catch up on if you haven’t been out for a year or so. Let your kids roam free. Long Cove is theirs to explore — all 1200 acres. Weekends are easy here because the fun is already baked in. Hop on a community bike and discover miles of hiking and biking trails. Enjoy your morning at one of our four stocked fishing ponds. Go head-to-head in pickleball, beach volleyball, or tennis. Cool off at one of our resort-style pools and call it a day with s’mores around the campfire. It’s just another day in the life for Longcovians. And with even more amenities coming soon, it’s just getting better. In 2021, as we touched on earlier, we will be building two more lakefront pools, a tree-top adventure park, an art walk, and a new cove to expand the shoreline.

AMAZING VIEWS

Magenta sunsets over the lake — and sunrises, if you’re an early bird! Does it get much better? With gorgeous views of Cedar Creek Lake at every turn, eye candy is in no short supply. Imagine taking in the views from your own lake home with a glass of Malbec in hand. Featuring rolling lawns, high elevations, wraparound porches, and luxurious finishes throughout, Long Cove lake homes are pretty easy on the eyes, too.
